My name is Sarah, I\u2019m from the Isle of Man and I practice, study (at The Prince\u2019s Foundation of Traditional Arts) and teach geometry for Recovery College at University College Isle of Man I have aphantasia and am a breast cancer survivor. Since 2015 I have been a full time artist and have had three solo exhibitions and various other exhibitions with other artists, including one with my sister. My last exhibition was at The Erin Arts Centre, where I exhibited about 80 paintings in March 2023.<\/p>
When I was a child in Douglas I was always fascinated by the t-shirt shops that printed for the TT visitors and tourists and I would go down Queen\u2019s Prom to watch. I asked if I could work there for free, as I have to the new artisan screenprinters, but they probably all thought I was weird. I am, but just like learning.<\/p>
Now I have this little teemill shop and I feel my life has started again with the help of Mental Health professionals after the horrendous experience of breast cancer and the mental health issues that came to the fore.<\/p>
My art is expensive, but now you can have it for around \u00a325 on a t-shirt. I\u2019ll be adding new designs regularly as I have designed dozens since I started using Geogebra.<\/p>
